The Ultimate Guide to Sweepstakes casinos

This guide will teach you how to make $750*~ per month from online Sweepstakes Casinos completely free.
Yes FREE.
And not the "free" where you have to pay upfront; this is completely free.
Updated: 3/26/2025 | v1.1

Overview

There is very little to no "fluff" writing provided in this guide, you only need to read it once.
Seriously, it's not that long.

I HIGHLY suggest you read through the entire guide.
If you reside in: Idaho, Washington, Michigan, or Nevada; you're out of luck.
Nearly all Sweepstakes Casinos do not allow these states.

How It Works

Sweepstakes Casinos (AKA operators) function by offering Sweeps Coins (SC) with every purchase.

Legally, these are provided to you at no cost; you are technically purchasing their Gold Coins (GC) which you can use on their site.

To keep this short:
SC = "Real" Prize Money
GC = "Play" Money (no monetary value)
You, the player, can redeem SC for Prize Money, typically at a conversion rate of 1 to 1:
=
$1 = 1 SC
(depending on the casino conversion rate)
Okay, so how do you make money?
This might sound insane, but Sweepstakes Casinos love to give out free money.
It incentivizes customers to be loyal and return to their platform in hopes that a player will purchase a package.

It should be noted that there's a playthrough requirement on most casinos of 1x. This is explained in Following the Guide (Section 6).
Obtaining Free SC
Daily Bonus
Each day (depending on the casino) you can login for a free daily bonus. This bonus can wildly vary from site to site. Some offer $0.20 a day, while others can hit upwards of $3.00 a day.
Call To Action
Operators like to offer free or promotional deals through social media or emails. Clicking on these links will (sometimes) provide you with free SC, usually completely free or as a promotional package.
Promotion Deals
Some operators provide extra SC on each purchase. These promotional deals are usually offered for first time buyers or during holiday events. You can sometimes get double your purchase ($10 for 20 SC) with some of these deals.
I highly recommend you join the Discord for Call To Action alerts, as it can result in an extra $5 to $10 a day.

Setup

Setup is pretty straight forward, each sweepstakes casino is different but you'll need the following:
  • 18+ years old
  • Email (make a new one)
  • Mobile Phone
  • Some sort of ID (driver's license)
  • Bank Account
Not every Sweepstakes Casino requires a bank account; this is addressed later in the guide.

Daily Bonus

Daily bonuses are (typically) obtainable every 24 hours.
Bonus Types
Login Reward
Simply login and collect. It's that easy. Sometimes they'll hide the claim button, but each Casino page in this guide will explain where it's located.
Streaks
A lot of casinos increase their reward amount or have a big reward at the end of a 7 day streak.
Example: you start at $0.25 on Day 1, and end with $3.00 on Day 7.
After which, the daily will reset to Day 1.
Wheel
Some sick freak thought a reward wheel would be cool. It's not. You spin a wheel and whatever you land on is what you get. Some are fair, most are not.
Each Casino page located here on Rat.Casino will tell you how much each casino rewards daily, the type, and how to obtain it. In section 6, I will discuss how to read the casino page.

Promotions

DO NOT SKIP!
Purchasing promotions and using a conservative gambling strategy can easily double your monthly profit from $750*~ to $1,500*~.
As stated before, some Sweepstakes Casinos give bonus SC with every purchase. They almost always offer a Welcome Bonus and other promotions.
Some Sweepstakes Casinos will advertise the % gain on a purchase. These can sometimes be wrong, so do the math.
Before Purchasing
SOME CASINOS "PROMO BAN" PLAYERS WHO PROFIT TOO MUCH.
THIS MEANS YOU WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE PROMOTIONAL DEALS.
Do the math to figure out the true percentage gain on your purchase.
(Sweeps Coins / Purchase Cost - 1) x 100 = % Gain
Alternatively, you can just ask ChatGPT.
Personally, I only buy promotion packages above ^15%. This can vary depending on the casino.
The larger the purchase, the more you'll retain (usually).
Promo Types
Welcome Bonus
Some sweepstakes casinos offer multiple Welcome Bonuses. Usually, you can only purchase one. So, Id choose the one that makes the most sense to you.
Promotional
Keep an eye out during holidays. This is when you can get some killer deals. Make sure to check your email!
Happy Hour
Some sweepstakes casinos do a Happy Hour. This is where you can get recurring deals. One of the greatest is LuckyLandSlots where once or twice a week you can get double the SC on a specific package.
To minimize loss, I recommend you save up some of your daily free SC and then gamble with your promotional deals. This will create a buffer.
It should be noted that some operators will promotion ban you, this means they will no longer provide promotional deals to your account. It's unavoidable, so you should take advantage of it while you still can. Again, only some operators do this.
Until the lazy Rats finish the Promotion Hub, you can join the Discord for promotional alerts!

Payments &  Redemptions

It's entirely up to you which bank you want to use, but I suggest opening a new account so it's easier to track purchases and redemptions.

Every Sweepstakes Casino has varying methods for purchasing and redeeming.
Common Methods
  • Debit/Credit
  • Skrill
  • ACH (bank)
Sometimes a card will get declined from a site.
Therefore, I recommend having two debit cards; both MasterCard and VISA.
Recommended Banks (optional)
THIS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. I RECOMMEND USING A NEW BANK ACCOUNT SO IT'S EASIER TO TRACK PURCHASES AND REDEMPTIONS.
Some people use Credit Cards to make purchases, and while this is technically possible
I don't recommend it. The headache doesn't outweigh the effort.
For those who need a checking account that offer a MasterCard and VISA, I use these two:
CapitalOne 360 is a checking account that offers a MasterCard debit card. Read through the agreement; when I signed up it had zero fees. Easy to use and took me about 5 minutes to sign up.
Chime offers a checking account with a VISA debit card. It has no fees, is very simple and easy to use, and again only took about 5 minutes to sign up.

NOTE: Please wait until you receive a physical card in the mail. Chime has a virtual card which you can use normally; however, some casinos may require you to submit an image of your debit card during verification (obviously with information hidden).
Skrill (you should get this)
Skrill is a payment gateway for both purchases and redemptions (like PayPal); about half of all sweepstakes casinos use it.

It's extremely useful and easy to use. It's like PayPal, but not s#!t. Get Skrill, it's really that good.
Crypto Wallet (you'll need one)
Some sweepstakes casinos require crypto as a payment and redemption. If you don't already have a wallet, you should consider getting Coinbase.

They're very easy to use and require little setup. Keep in mind, there is a transaction fee for using crypto.

Following the Guide

DO NOT SKIP!
Sign Up and Verification
The guide will start you off with the top rated Sweepstakes Casinos and work its way down (5 cheese to 1).
You're going to be signing up to a lot of different casinos (over 50), many of which are owned by the same few companies. It's a lot, but it's worth it.

Be sure to add each casino you sign up for in a bookmark so you can easily open them.
You should fully verify your account after signing up as soon as possible.

This is completed by going to the site's verification section and following the instructions.

NOTE: Verification means proving who you are. Each sweepstakes casino does this differently, but they all generally use the same or similar third-party verification systems.

Some sites share almost identical layouts, while others are completely foreign.

Rat.Casino has a guide page for each one. They're extremely short in nature and very easy to read.

There's also a quick overview at the top including the daily bonus amount, redemption requirement, VIP info, and more.

Understanding the Guide Page

Each casino has its own rules, terms, features, and functionality. To make this easier to understand for all casinos, I've condesned this information at the top of each page. It looks like the following:
Daily Bonus
The average daily reward bonus over 7 days (varies).
Conversion Type
How SC is converted to $ when playing.
VIP
How VIP works at the casino. SC, GC, or None.
Promo Deals
How good promo deals are.
Fees
Associated fees when redeeming.
Referrals
If the casino provides a referral system.
Playthrough
How many times SC must be played before redemption.
Min. Redemption
The minimum SC required to redeem.
Age Req.
Age requirement for the casino, 18 or 21.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO MEMORIZE THIS. SIMPLY HOVERING THE ICONS ON THE PAGE WILL REMIND YOU WHAT THEY DO.
Important Guide Page Info
  • Daily - how the bonus is obtained
  • VIP - how it works
  • Strategy - best games to play
  • Playthrough - how many times SC must be played
Playthrough is how many times SC needs to be played in order to redeem cash prizes.

This means if it has a playthrough rate of 1x, it must be played at least one time. Note: Some operators require you to WIN or PLAY.

Win - each time you win, that amount gets credited to your redeemable balance.
Play - each time you play, that amount gets credited to your redeemable balance.

Play is always better, but don't let that deter you from signing up.

Each page in the guide tells you how each site functions.
Track your Sign ups
All casino pages (and the All Casinos page located in the nav bar) provide a Completed checkbox. Use it. This will help track which you've signed up to.

After completing sign up, you can mark it as complete and move on to the next one.

You can always reference back to these casino pages by clicking All Casinos in the nav bar (use the sorting on the right!)
RTP (Return To Player)
RTP (Return to Player) is the % of all the money bet on a game that is paid back to players over time.

If a slot machine (or game) has an RTP of 96%, it means that, on average, for every $100 bet, the game will return $96 to the player.

This does NOT mean you will always get $96 back when you bet $100.
SOME CASINOS OMIT RTP FROM CERTAIN GAMES. EVEN IF YOU'VE PLAYED THEM ON ONE SITE, THEY MAY BE DIFFERENT ON ANOTHER. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

So how do you use this to your advantage? Simple.
Strategy
I will preface this by saying; play however you want.

I'm not here to tell you the best strategy, but rather, one that works for me and many others. There are two common methods to gambling; like a total degenerate (high volatility) or like a Rat (low volatility).

Volatility
  • Low - wins happen more often, but are lower in size
  • High - wins are more rare, but are larger in size
It's pretty obvious to see where this is going.

In order to retain the most amount of winnings from gambling, I recommend you use the lowest bet amount, combined with a high RTP and low volatility game. This will help minimize the risk on your bankroll and (hopefully) leave you with enough SC to redeem!

Each casino page in this guide will have some recommended game(s), however, these can change at any time. I'll try my best to update them as often as possible, but when in doubt -- join the Discord.
