DingDingDing Exits Sweepstakes

Well, unless this is an unsavory April Fools joke, DingDingDing has officially exited the online sweepstakes casino business and will now only offer play money. As of today (April 1, 2025) DingDingDing will no longer provide players with obtainable sweepstakes coins, meaning you can no longer redeem cash prizes from their website. Hopefully, those who had money on their platform will still get paid out, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

DingDingDing blames regulatory changes as the root cause of the change, but personally I believe they were underperforming for quite some time now and decided to pull the plug. My reasoning for this, is because they have had increasingly long redemption times for people who would "put them in the red" as in, people who were profiting had extremely long redemption times; while players who were in the red or negative would have much faster redemption times (as reported by people in our Discord and many others). While I can understand regulatory changes sweeping through the United States targeting online sweepstakes casinos, this is on a state-by-state basis and I highly doubt this is the actual reason, as we would have seen this from many more online sweepstakes casinos.

DingDingDing didn't offer any heads-up to their users prior to the exit, making some users skeptical as to the motive of DingDingDing. Personally, I didn't see any real tall-tale signs of what some are calling an "exit scam". They didn't seem to offer any sales that were egregious (huge sales) in nature. But who knows.

I am extremely disappointed by this outcome and hope that anyone affected gets reimbursed from lost deposits.
